Dr. Bajaj is a distinguished interventional cardiologist currently serving patients at the Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida in Ocala, FL. With a wealth of experience and expertise, Dr. Bajaj has held esteemed positions in leading medical institutions across the United States.
Prior to his current appointment, Dr. Bajaj served as an Interventional Cardiologist at Cedar Valley Medical Specialists, affiliated with Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa, from July 2015 to August 2021. He completed his Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Seton Hall University in New Jersey, where he trained at renowned institutions such as St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark and St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson.
Dr. Bajaj began his medical journey at Chengalpattu Medical College, earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University in India. He then pursued residency training in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, affiliated with Mount Sinai School of Medicine and New York University.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bajaj has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in cardiovascular care and has obtained multiple board certifications, including Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, and Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He also holds certifications in Nuclear Cardiology and is an RPVI-certified physician.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Bajaj is actively engaged in volunteer work and academic pursuits. He has contributed to various international peer-reviewed journals as a reviewer and has volunteered with organizations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Dr. Bajaj is fluent in English and Hindi, with fair proficiency in Spanish, Punjabi, and Tamil.
